There are generally six different types of Systems Development Life Cycle methodologies. They are as follows: Waterfall Model: This is the simplest and the oldest SDLC methodology (Model, 2015). V-Shaped Model: This model is known as V-shaped model because the execution of the processes in this model happens in a sequential V-shape manner.
